Performing Arts Knutsford

Rokit Performing Arts is the funkiest performing arts school in Knutsford. We provide young people aged 4 to 18 with professional training in the core principles of performing arts; acting, dancing and singing. Rokit Performing Arts isn't just for aspiring performers, but for children who just want to have fun, make friends and be a part of something special.

Our syllabus is designed to build confidence, enhance fitness and encourage children to work as team. Aspiring young performers are also given the diverse training that is required to become a professional performer.

Our syllabus includes acting, dancing and singing classes and also covers presenting for TV.

Rokit is the first performing arts school of its kind to teach two distinctive styles - 'Rokit Pop' and 'Rokit Theatre'. Each week students alternate between our two styles which ensures that they receive diverse training in the most relevant and up to date styles of performing. Mixing the school syllabus keeps students focused, interested and stimulated throughout the term. We are the only school that offers this and we believe that this makes us the most innovative school for performing arts in Knutsford, or anywhere else in Cheshire.

Rokit Pop classes are inspired by pop music, TV, music videos and cinema. The students will learn a pop song, a dance in the style of a music video and an acting piece taken from popular children's TV shows and soaps.

Rokit Theatre classes draw inspiration from a variety of hit musicals and include theatre songs, dance moves and acting scenes from West End and Broadway shows.

Our classes provide children with an exciting approach to performing arts in a caring and creative environment and are split into 3 age groups:

Freshmans 4-6yrs
Sophomores 7-11yrs
Seniors 12-18yrs

Our teachers are professionals in their field and have worked extensively on theatre shows, TV productions and music videos.

Our guest teachers are dancers, singers and actors you may have see on your TV screens in commercials, music videos and West End shows.

Our fees offer excellent value for money. We aim to offer the most competitively priced lessons for performing arts in Knutsford and throughout Cheshire.

The Winter and Summer terms are packed full of stimulating training while in our Autumn term, we put the training into action working towards our entertaining end of year show. We also run Summer schools and workshops throughout the year.

When?
Rokit Performing Arts opens on Tuesday 10th January 2012. Our lessons take place on Tuesday evenings from 4.15-7.30pm. Our terms run alongside school terms with three 12 week terms per year.
